Thanks to the generosity of the Paramount business community, the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) has provided 226 scholarships worth $641,000 over the years to local students who are attending a university, community college, or trade school.

Now your business can keep that record going by becoming a sponsor or prize donor for PEP’s 13th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser.

Not only will this help a Paramount student go to college, it provides numerous opportunities to promote your company name and receive publicity in a variety of venues.

All donations will be made to the PEP 501c3 non-profit entity and are tax deductible.

Please contact Suleyma Rosales at (562) 220-2121 or srosales@paramountcity.com to learn more.

Friday, April 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Progress Park Plaza, 15500 Downey Ave. Great food and fun casino-type games for a good cause.

Coming to Progress Park

Look for the Paramount Farmers Market to open once again on Friday, March 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and then every Friday at the same time. It will have a new location at Progress Park, which has plenty of parking and is a stop for the Easy Rider city shuttle. So come on out and stock up on some healthy fruits and vegetables before the weekend begins.
