All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment. To keep classes from being cancelled due to low registration, please register at least six days in advance of the start date. Once a class is cancelled, it will not be rescheduled.

Resident Privilege Account All O’Fallon residents are eligible for resident rates on park facility rentals, programs and admissions with a Resident Privilege Account. Apply for your free Resident Privilege Account at the Renaud Center. Residents ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a resident parent or resident guardian to obtain a Resident Privilege Account. The account expires one year from the date issued.

No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the class.

•

A $15.00 service charge will be placed on returned checks.

•

Refunds of $10.00 or less are credited to the customer’s account for future programs.

•

Refunds over $10.00 may be requested for reimbursement by check to the main contact on the account.

•

A service fee of $5.00 or 10% (whichever is greater) will apply to refunds initiated by the customer.

•

Refunds take 2–3 weeks to process.

•

*Additional individual family members (ages 3+) may be added to a Renaud Center membership at the cost of $25 for residents, $50 for non-residents.

Campsites at O’Day Park Overnight camping is now available for Scout groups and non-profit organizations in O’Day Park. Two large camp sites are nestled amongst the wooded area, accommodating up to 25 campers each. More space is available for an additional fee.

The O'Fallon Police Department will patrol the park. At least one adult must be present for every 10 children.

Renaud Center • Rental Rates Rent a unique recreation complex with amenities for all ages and abilities! Perfect for your special event, meeting, wedding shower, basketball or volleyball practice, pool party, lock-in and more. Reservations are available outside of regular Renaud Center business hours. Rental requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person at the Renaud Center at least two weeks before the rental date. All fees and damage deposits are collected when reservations are made. Costs are provided for residents/ non-residents. The facility is located in Sports Park at 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O'Fallon, MO 63368.

This versatile room easily accommodates 50 people and has a sink, countertop space and tile floors. Tables and chairs can be set up at no extra cost. Outside food is allowed for an additional fee.

Late Fees and Pick-up Policy A late fee will be charged for:

• Children who are not picked up at the end of class/program • Children who remain in Kids’ Korner beyond the 2-hour limit $10 will be charged for the first 15 minutes

• An additional $5 will be charged for each 10 minutes thereafter, until the child is picked up.

Join us at Alligator’s Creek for our annual dog swim. Not only does this event benefit the Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation but we will have raffles, games, vendors, trainers, and a whole lot more. Nerf Warz Friday, September 23 Join us for this family-friendly Nerf Warz event! Session 1 is for ages 4–8 and session 2 is for ages 9–14. Each session will consist of constant shooting and some games on our inflatable Nerf Field. Each player will be supplied with a pair of safety glasses and an armory of foam darts, but participants must bring their own Nerf gun capable of shooting 7.2 cm foam darts. No outside darts will be allowed. Players must register by Monday, September 19th. There will be no registration at the door.

ur Just for Kids programs offer a great way for parents and grandparents to spend quality time with young children or take a little time for themselves while their children participate in a class. Children also benefit by socializing with others in enjoyable classes that can include singing, dancing, creating art and learning new skills.

Young children attending without a parent must be completely potty-trained and able to use the restroom independently. If your child is not potty-trained but would like to participate in one of our programs, please call 636-474-2732 for information on making arrangements.

Civic Dance Studio This great 9-month dance program encourages students to practice and improve throughout the school year and culminates with a year-end dance recital. New students can be accepted into the program at any time. Classes are held at the Krekel Civic Center, 305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon 63366.

Civic Dance Studio classes emphasize correct technique, placement, elegance and discipline. Class typically includes a warmup, progressive steps across the floor and dance combos. Ballet classes include ballet and en pointe at the barre.

Tuition does not include the required dance class attire (dance shoes, leotards or tights) or recital costumes.

This style is based on explosive movements, devastating power and self-discipline. Students will progress through a series of techniques and belts at their own pace and will not necessarily test each session. Aquatics Aqua Aerobics Aqua Fit Beginner Swimming skills are not required for this four-week beginner class, which offers a great way to get started in our water exercise program. Aqua aerobics is a low-impact exercise that strengthens muscles and joints and provides a great cardiovascular workout in the pool.

Water Walking/Running Swimming is not required! Walk in the lazy river (you’ll find it’s not really so lazy) to improve cardiovascular health, balance and flexibility. We offer two different types of walking classes: Water Walking, which meets twice a week, and Water Running, which meets once a week. Both classes mix up your workout with lazy river jets for resistance!

Aqua Power Intermediate Join our four-week aqua aerobics class for an exhilarating, jointfriendly workout with low, medium and high-intensity exercises.

No swimming is required. We’ll focus on cardiovascular fitness and muscle conditioning with water dumbbells, noodles and other pool fitness equipment.

Cardio Circuit Splash In this beginner- to intermediate-level class, you will move through circuits of fun pool exercises using a variety of equipment. Cardio Circuit Splash is designed to burn calories, tone your body, strengthen your core and jumpstart your overall cardiovascular training.

Therapeutic Aqua Aerobics If you have arthritis or a bone/joint condition, treat yourself to warm water and relieve aches and pains. No swimming skills are required in this four-week class, which relieves bones of weightbearing stress as you strengthen muscles and joints. Specialized instruction will help you improve movement and flexibility.

Gateway Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Ages 6 months – 6 years Infant Swimming Resource is the safest and most effective provider of survival swimming lessons worldwide, teaching children how to use ISR self-rescue skills and giving them the competence and confidence they need to survive in the water.

Swim Stroke Analysis

O’Fallon Swim Academy is built on teaching aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. Our goal is to teach children and adults how to swim and be safe in and around the water.

The program is composed of 12 course levels and each child must pass a particular level before proceeding to the next.

Customized Private/Semi-Private Swimming Lessons Recommended for Ages 3+ Private or Semi-Private lessons are for swimmers who are struggling with a few skills, want more individual attention, or are not sure what class would be the right fit.

Private lessons start at $65/$70 for three 30-minute lessons, or practice with a friend or family member and make it a semiprivate lesson for just $47/$52 per swimmer. Private lessons are offered year-round at the Renaud Center. Please note, space is limited for private lessons.

Private lesson requests can be filled out online, in person at the Renaud Center, or over the phone. You may request specific instructors, your preferred location and lesson timeframe.

Find the right group lessons for your child To ensure success in the O’Fallon Swim Academy, it’s important to register children for the appropriate level. Children who have participated in the swimming program should register according to the last class successfully completed, moving to the next class or skill level when all skills from the previous level are mastered. Some classes may seem repetitive, but we want swimmers to perfect their skills in order to advance safely, not quickly. Children learn at different paces and it is common to repeat a class.

Advanced Lessons Ages 6–12 years

Independent swimmers learn and perfect the 4 swim strokes; Student/teacher ratio = 8:1

Level Four: Marlin • Ages 6+

Level One: Jellyfish • Ages 4+ Builds on basic swimming skills, reinforces independent swimming and introduces the freestyle and backstroke. Junior Tennis Classes Each session consists of five 60-minute classes with a Vetta West Tennis Teaching Pro. Our programming is designed in coordination with the United States Tennis Association Youth Player Progression. This system promotes play with red, orange, green and yellow compression balls (R.O.G.Y), and helps young players develop both physically and technically. All classes are divided into appropriate age and skill levels.

Red • Ages 8 and under This class revolves entirely around having FUN, developing hand/ eye coordination and introducing basic stroke fundamentals.

Tennis at Westhoff Park

Cultural Arts Art Exhibitions John Troy – Painting At the O’Fallon City Hall Gallery John Troy earned his MFA from Temple University in Philadelphia, and currently holds the rank of Senior Professor of Art and Design at Lindenwood University. Now, guests to the O'Fallon City Hall gallery can explore his body of work, which includes painted portaits, character studies and landscapes. In describing his art, John notes that “identifying the relationship between man and nature” is what he's truly trying to capture in his paintings.

Gara Lacy – Photography At the Krekel Civic Center Gallery Gara Lacy grew up in the capital city of Missouri and earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts at Lindenwood University. From there, she developed a love for photography and painting. She says “photography gives me instant gratification, while the process of painting teaches patience and that there is perfection in imperfection.” View her work at the Krekel Civic Center during this exhibition.

O’FallonTheatreWorks presents Shakespeare in Love Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 14–16 and 21–23 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. matinees on Sunday Shakespeare in Love, a fastmoving romantic comedy set in 1590s London follows the trials and tribulations of Will Shakespeare, a struggling young playwright suffering from a dreadful bout of writer’s block.

No matter how hard he tries he just can’t seem to make any headway with his latest work, Romeo and Ethel, the Pirate’s Daughter. Somehow, even the title doesn’t sound quite right!

Then he meets (and falls instantly in love with) the startlingly beautiful young Viola who, desperate to become an actress, disguises herself as a man to audition for his play. Inspired by love, his creative powers are unleashed as his great love story Romeo and Juliet is brought to life for the first time!

Youth Weight Room Orientation • Ages 12–15 Those who are ages 12–15 are required to enroll in and pass the Youth Weight Room Orientation class before being permitted to use the Fitness Center, including the Weight Room. After attending the class, participants are required to get a wristband at the front desk before entering the Fitness Center, where they must wear the wristband at all times. Classes are held on Mondays June through August.
