Grilling gives these shrimp tostadas a boost of smoky flavor. Skewering the shrimp prevents them from falling through the grates while getting even char on each side. If you have a grill basket, you can throw them in that instead; just make sure to get them into a single layer so they don't steam.
1 pound peeled and deveined raw shrimp (21-25 count)
2 tablespoons extravirgin olive oil, divided
2 teaspoons chile-lime seasoning, such as Tajín
1 teaspoon garlic powder
8 corn tortillas
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup guacamole
1-2 jalapeño peppers, sliced
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro Crumbled cheese & s for serving

Directions
Preheat grill to medium-high. Toss shrimp with 1 tablespoon oil, chile-lime se garlic powder in a large bowl. Thread onto four skewers. Brush both sides of each tortilla with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil.
Grill the shrimp until lightly browned and cooked through, flipping once, about 4 minutes. Grill the tortillas until lightly charred and crispy, flipping once, about 2 minutes.
Top the tortillas with cabbage, guacamole, jalapeño and the grilled shrimp. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with cotija and sour cream, if desired.
At every stage of life, men are encouraged to consider three equally important aspects of their health physical health, mental health and social connection. Men’s Health Week and Men’s Health Month raise awareness of how these aspects work together and remind men to take charge of their health

The Importance of Social Connection
Social connection plays an important role in both physical and mental health, yet many Americans report feeling lonely or isolated. Research shows that loneliness can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, dementia, depression and anxiety and may even raise the risk of early death at levels comparable to smoking.
The good news is that staying connected can improve overall wellbeing, reduce stress and support a healthier immune system. Simple activities like sharing a meal, joining a class, attending an event or volunteering can make a meaningful difference.
At the Hays Center, many of the programs and activitie month help foster these important connections. Wheth in fitness classes, games, educational programs, socia community events, staying involved is a great way to physical and emotional wellness.
