The Montclair Community Fruit Park was planted on October 26, 2013. The Fruit Park is home to over 20 different fruit trees, including Apple “Granny Smith,” Lemon Eureka, Mexican Guava “White Pear,” and many more! It is open to the community and fruit can be picked (when ripe) by the community to enjoy. The Fruit Park is located at Sunset Park and is currently undergoing renovations. It is expected to be open to the community again this Spring when Sunset Park reopens.

MONTCLAIR Fire Department

Message from the Chief

As summer arrives, bringing warmer days and more time spent outdoors, Montclair Fire Department wants to remind our community to stay safe and prepared. With increased outdoor activities, barbecues, and wildfire risks, fire safety remains as important as ever. We encourage everyone to practice grill safety, remain mindful of fire danger levels, and properly dispose of any flammable materials. With rising temperatures, please also remember to stay hydrated, check on vulnerable neighbors, and never leave children or pets in parked cars. At Montclair Fire, we are committed to serving and protecting you year-round. Whether responding to emergencies or engaging in community outreach, our mission is to keep Montclair safe. We appreciate your ongoing support and partnership in making our city a safer place for all.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Subscription Program

Each year thousands of 9-1-1 medical calls are received from Montclair residents and businesses. Unexpected emergencies can result in costly medical bills.

By participating in the EMS Subscription Program you can protect yourself, your family or employees against unexpected emergency medical service fees.

For more information on the topics listed above, please contact the Montclair Fire Department at (909) 447-3500.

Summer Safety

As summer temperatures rise, its important to stay safe and prepared. Whether you’re grilling, swimming, or enjoying outdoor activities, always prioritize safety so that summer can be safe and fun for everyone!

Grill Safely: Always keep grills at least 10 feet from structures and never leave them unattended.

Check Smoke Alarms: Test smoke alarms monthly and replace batteries at least once a year.

Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to prevent heat related illnesses.

Never Leave Kids or Pets in Cars: Temperatures inside vehicles can quickly become deadly.

Pool Safety: Always supervise children near the pool, and ensure there’s a secure fence around it to prevent unsupervised access.

In an emergency always call 9-1-1

An emergency is considered an event or occurrence demanding immediate action, or any condition endangering life or property. You should call 9-1-1 if you smell smoke, see a fire, or if there is a serious medical emergency or potentially dangerous situation.

Calling 9-1-1 is serious and calling unnecessarily may endanger someone else's life or property! When calling 9-1-1, give the dispatcher the following information: The phone number you are calling from, your name, your location, and the nature of the problem. Remain on the line until the dispatcher tells you it is okay to hang up.
