Fire

• Additional Staffing located in Douglastown (coverage 24/7)

• Setup Temporary Fire Station in Douglastown

• Temporary Rezoning with Greater Miramichi Service Commission

Transit

• Purchased two used accessible transit vehicles (Express Route)

• Additional Staffing

• Updated Routes – Monday to Saturday 6:00am to 7:00pm

o Two buses Southside

o Two buses Northside

o One bus – Chatham Shopping Centre to Northumberland Square (Express Route)

Community Wellness and Recreation –

• Strategic locations for staff/equipment

• Utilize Satellite Office to reduce disruption in programming

• Limited deliveries (i.e. bleachers)

• Sports field maintenance will be adjusted

• Facility openings will be monitored, potentials changes required

Setting Realistic Expectations

• City to implement Centennial Bridge Closure Communications Plan

• Expect Traffic Delays

• City staff will continue to monitor/update plans as required

• Levels of Service will be affected across the City

• More closures expected in years to come
