There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee per child.

Registration Requirements

Children who live in Miramar are eligible for resident rate.

For registration, please provide participant’s birth certificate and one of the following: • Current Driver’s License with current Miramar address • Most recent electric bill or water bill • Homestead Exemption Notice

Refund Policy

Due to the seasonal nature of our camps, we are prohibited from issuing any refunds or credits within fourteen days of the camp start date for any cause. Refunds will only be issued if written request is received fourteen (14) days prior to commencement of camp. No refunds or credits will be issued because of non-attendance of a child from camp, nor if closed due to safety concerns, inclement weather, power loss, or other emergencies out of the department’s control. Refund requests must be received in writing fourteen days in advance of program start date to receive a full refund, less the $25.00 registration fee. (Refunds will be issued by the same form of payment. NO Cash Refunds). The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel under-enrolled programs, in which case the fee will be refunded.

Welcome to the 2022 Miramar Summer Playbook. This is your guide to the various camps offered by the Parks and Recreation Department. Every week we offer different themed camps for children to enjoy. They will make new friends, and have fun as they explore new sports and interests. They will come away with new pursuits, develop their social skills and participate in outdoor activities. We hope to create memories that will last a life time.

Money Avengers Learn the difference between cash and credit, how to budget, needs versus wants. Take home projects including starting a savings plan (Piggy Bank).

Football is a popular sport. This camp is the perfect way to learn and excel in football with less risk of injury .

Learn the basics of drawing and animation by hand and through various animation software programs.

Campers will sing, play instruments, move to music, create music, and learn the basics of reading and writing music. There will be exposure to music and instruments from around the world.

How Far Can U Throw Throwing is part of track and field events: Hammer, Disc, Shot Put and Javelin. Let us teach you proper grip, stance and footwork. Then enjoy a field day at Regional Park of fun and sun.

Sprint Away

Sports CAMPS Miramar Summer Camps provide a fun, structured and supervised environment for kids ages 6 to 12.

They will have the opportunity to be introduced to a new sport or improve their skills, learn fundamentals, and enjoy participating in a variety of group activities.

Breakfast and Lunch included.

Let’s focus on running fundamentals. Better run times, work in teams, and push limits. Then wrap it up with a “Strong Grip Ninja Course” test.

Hooked on Fishing

Catch Me If You Can Sprinters Camp focuses on running fundamentals, technique and training. Fun activities and a field trip to TY Park Castaway Island.

Campers will be introduced to the sport of fishing.
