WELCOME Welcome to the 2018 Miramar Summer Playbook. This is your guide to the variety of camps offered by the City of Miramar for kids to have fun, develop social skills, be introduced to new interests and participate in outdoor activities. Through our camps, we strive to provide an atmosphere where children have the opportunity to learn, explore, create, and grow in a nurturing and stimulating environment. There is a little bit of something for everyone.

Miramar Summer Camps provide a fun, structured and supervised environment for kids ages 6 to 12.

They will have the opportunity to be introduced to a new sport or improve their skills, learn fundamentals, and enjoy participating in a variety of group activities.

Registration Fee

There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee per child.

Registration Requirements

Children who live in Miramar are eligible for resident rate. For registration, please provide participant’s birth certificate and one of the following: • Current Driver’s License with current Miramar address • Most recent electric bill or water bill • Homestead Exemption Notice

Refund Policy

Due to the seasonal nature of our camps, we are prohibited from issuing any refunds or credits within fourteen days of the camp start date for any cause. Refunds will only be issued if written request is received fourteen (14) days prior to commencement of camp.

No refunds or credits will be issued because of non-attendance of a child from camp, nor if closed due to safety concerns, inclement weather, power loss, or other emergencies out of the Department’s control. Refund requests must be received in writing fourteen days in advance of program start date to receive a full refund, less the $25.00 registration fee. (A check will be issued 4-6 weeks after a request is received; NO Cash Refunds). The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel under-enrolled programs, in which case the fee will be refunded.
