Participants connect with fellow seniors who are trained to provide assistance and support with challenges such as depression, fear, loneliness, the loss of a loved one, health changes, or isolation Senior Peer Counseling is available in both English and Spanish. The City of Martinez Community & Recreation Services Division and the Veteran’s Commission invites the community to attend our Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11, for a heartfelt Veterans Day Ceremony honoring those who have served our country. The day begins at 10 AM at Alhambra Cemetery, followed by a gathering at 11 AM at Ignacio Plaza. h f l b d ect with our community.
Come on down to our Annual Frosty’s Holiday Boutique at the Martinez Senior Center where you will find unique holiday gifts and handmade items. We will be serving free hot chocolate and have Santa available for free pictures thru the whole event! If you are interested in being Center.
Join us for the annual Holiday Frolic event! Parade begins at 7:00pm at Court & Main Street, and will end at Alhambra Ave & Main Street. Register to receive your very own light wand and help light up our parade! If you would like to participate in the parade, please fill out a participant application on our website by November 26th.

Join us for a rewarding day at the Alhambra Pioneer Cemetery Clean Up, in partnership with E Clampus Vitus Chapter 13. This twice-yearly event is not only a chance to help preserve a piece of local history but also a fun way to connect with fellow community members. Grab your gloves and friends and enjoy a day of teamwork and camaraderie as we spruce up this historic site!
