May 15 is Peace Officer Memorial Day a time to honor the brave aw enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The City of Lancaster ncourages residents to take a moment to reflect and recognize he sacrifice and dedication of hose who serve and protect our ommunities

TRASH & RECYCLING COLLECTION
Trash and recycling are collected once a week. Lancaster is divided into five areas, and your pickup day depends on your location



LANCASTER RECREATION CENTER SUMMER CAMP 2025
Get ready for an unforgettable summer! The Lancaster Recreation Center invites kids ages 5–12 to join our exciting Summer Camp 2025. Campers will enjoy handson activities like scavenger hunts, craft workshops, science projects, water games, and weekly field trips. RESIDENTIAL SECURITY CHECKS
Planning a summer vacation? The Lancaster Police Department wants to help make your vacation an enjoyable one! The residential security check program is to be used when you will be out on a weekend trip or a month-long excursion and no one should be at the home unless authorized. Every month the city of Lancaster selects one Lancaster homeowner in each council district and one business owner who has kept their yard in exceptional condition.

BOARD & COMMISSIONS MEMBERS NEEDED
Applications are now being accepted for appointments to city boards and commissions. Volunteer members of boards and commissions act in an advisory capacity to the City Council on issues such as capital improvement, parks, economic development, zoning and much more.
