The Veterans Memorial Library offers many services and programs to patrons. Library cards are free for Lancaster residents and only $20 per year for non-residents. Conveniently place a book on hold and pick it up using the drive-through option. Wireless printing is also available for Library members.

Don't see a book you're looking for? Take advantage of our interlibrary loan option which allows you to place a request for our library to borrow a book from another library. We also offer many programs such as virtual computer classes, virtual story times, S.T.E.A.M. kits, and virtual trivia night to name a few.

Library Programs & Services

Drive-Thru Services You can utilize the drive-thru window to pick up items you have on hold and sign up for a library card. The window is open Monday - Friday between 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. To place an item on hold, please visit: LVML.bywatersolutions.com

Junior Volunteers Teens ages 16+ can begin earning virtual volunteer hours by completing book reviews, book lists, and more! For more information, please contact the library at 972-227-1080. STEAM Kids Kits Kids entering K-6th grade can now practice their STEAM skills at home! Kits featuring educational games related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math are now available to checkout at the library!

Binge Boxes Patrons can check out themed movie kits to binge their favorite movies! Each binge box will include a bag of popcorn when they are checked out. Visit the library to pick up yours today!

Virtual Summer Reading Club The Virtual Summer Reading Club is self-paced and will take place from June 1 - July 22. Logging your reading is easy! Simply visit LVML.readsquared.com to log all of your progress.
