Line up to begin promptly at 9 a.m. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Elise Robertson Middle School – 822 Pleasant Run Rd. Immediately following the parade there will be a short program that will include guest speaker Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, a band competition, and more!

62nd Annual Christmas Parade and Festival On Saturday, December 12, 2015 the City of Lancaster hosted its 62nd Annual Christmas Parade and festival. With the theme: “A Storybook Christmas”, the parade was full of creative floats and entries. The parade was followed by the Christmas Festival held at the Lancaster Recreation Center where In-n-Out Burgers provided FREE burgers, chips, and drinks. Activities included: live performances from local schools, churches and community groups, adopt-a-pet opportunities, pictures with Santa, a puppet show, arts and crafts, Hayrides through the park, family-friendly holiday movies and much more! Make sure to join us again next year as this event gets better every year!

The City of Lancaster approved a new waste contract with Community Waste Disposal (CWD) effective February 1, 2016. Starting January 11, 2016 new trash and recycling carts will be delivered to your residence with instructions from CWD on proper placement and other changes. The new trash cart will be GRAY and the new recycling cart will be BLUE. If you have any questions, please contact the City of Lancaster at 972-218-1300.
