Aquatic Programs Fitness Swim Monday - Friday: Tuesday & Thursday Resident - $20/Month | 8:00 A.M. - 8:50 A.M. 11:00 A.M. - 11:50 A.M. Non-Resident - $30/Month 10:00 A.M. - 10:50 A.M. Adults 18 and up can enjoy dedicated time Monday & Wednesday specifically to aquatic exercise. Swim laps 9:00 A.M. - 9:50 A.M. or engage in self-guided water aerobics. Monday & Wednesday 11:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.
Aqua Babies $40/Session (4 classes) (6 months - 3 years) A parent or guardian is required to be in the water with the child. Parents will receive information and techniques to help them orient their child to the water. Water adjustment is the goal. Swim skills covered include: holding positions, bubble blowing, supported front & back movement, underwater exploration and rolling over.
Water Aerobics $40/Month Adults 18 and up can enjoy this great form of fitness. Water aerobics is staff led and great for those who require less joint impact, seniors and those who love the water.

The Senior Life Center is Open!
Face coverings and temperature checks are encouraged Plan your visit to the Senior Life Center in the morning from 8:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. and/or the afternoon 2:00 P.M. 4:00 P.M. At this time, the Senior Life Center is not taking new signups. The building is closed from 11:00 A.M. 2:00 P.M. for the home meal service and deep sanitizing. Coffee and water will not be provided at this time. Members who are currently enrolled for the meal program may continue the home meal service or pick up take-home meals outside of the Senior Life Center between 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. No new enrollments will be taken at this time.

Mosquito Prvention tips Follow these tips to held prevent mosquitos from ruining your day! Remove Mosquito Habitats Eliminate standing water in rain gutters, old tires, buckets, plastic covers, toys, or any other item where mosquitos can breed.
Keep Mosquitos outside Use screens on the windows or air conditioning to keep mosquitos from slipping in a window.
Stay Indoors During Dusk and Dawn While mosquitoes can bite at any time of the day, it's wise to limit your exposure during their prime feeding times. If you can't avoid being outdoors at these times of the day, make sure to take some other precautions.
Treat Pools of Water Treat pools of water you can not drain to kill mosquito larvae.
Use Mosquito Repellent The most effective chemical repellents contain DEET, picaridin, PMD, or IR3535 insecticide, which are all considered safe when used as directed. Wear Long-Sleeved Shirts & Long Pants Thicker fabrics and looser fits with lighter colors offer more protection than thin clothing that fits tightly.

Free Smoke Detectors
The City of Lancaster Police Department offers a residential security check program to residents who are away from their home for extended periods of time. If you plan to be out on a weekend trip or month-long vacation, a Lancaster officer will periodically stop by and check on your house to ensure it is safe and secure from any unauthorized visitors. The City of Lancaster Fire Department and the American Red Cross have teamed up to provide FREE smoke detectors to Lancaster residents who are in need (supplies are limited). Lancaster residents must call the Fire Department at 972-218-2600 to request alarms and schedule a day for the Fire Department to come out and install them for you.
Close or Extra Patrol A Close or Extra Patrol is conducted when the Lancaster Police Department deems an area to be a high crime rate area or when citizens request for extra police patrol presence. Officers conducting Close or Extra Patrols will be on the look out for criminal activity, damaged property, or any other activity that is not a normal every-day occurrence. The National Weather Service (NWS) advises the use of outdoor warning sirens when an event is life threatening to the community and anyone outside should seek shelter indoors and tune in to the news station for more information.
