City Hosts ARC Civic Dinner

Sponsored through the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), Civic Dinners are conversations initiated to center on meaningful discussions about issues that matter to our future. The ARC is the regional planning agency for the 10-county Atlanta area. ARC helps to focus the region’s attention and resources on critical topics. On November 8, the City of Jonesboro hosted a Civic Dinner conversation on Arts and Culture efforts. The Atlanta region is home to theaters, musicians, symphonies and dance groups. Public art is showing up on walls, plazas, and beyond. Georgia is the most popular filming location in the U.S. By supporting the arts and applying the creative skills of the arts community to issues facing our region, we can insure success and celebrate the people and cultures that make our region unique. Dinner conversation centered on the role of Arts and Culture in the future of Jonesboro as well as in the Atlanta region. The dinner was held at the Greenhouse on College Street. Special thanks to Richard Bell and Ricky Clark who hosted.
