Headcount Growth Projections
Real Estate and Capital Investment
• Project Steel plans to create approximately 39 new full‐time jobs in Year 1 (2023) and grow to approximately 192 new full‐time jobs by Year 4. • The operation’s average salary is anticipated to be approximately $65,332/annum in the first year and grow in‐line with local wage escalation over time.
• Capital investment is expected to range from $70,000,000 to $80,000,000 for machinery and equipment for this project. This Capex is expected to be incurred over five years of the project; approximately, $30m‐$40m in 2023, $10m‐$20m in 2024‐2027, depending on the timing of site acquisition.
• Good morning. We are working with the Missouri Partnership and a site selection consultant that is seeking an existing facility for a large, publicly traded solar company’s first US module assembly facility. The client is focused on solar cell and module production, solar project development, and independent power production (IPP). The client has a very strong pipeline of projects, and this facility will primarily support domestic and overseas demand. The client has a United States subsidiary. The module assembly facility is targeted at 2 GW of output and would employ approximately 700 workers. The facility would serve as the US headquarters for the client and include a variety of occupations including production, engineering, assembly, and administrative functions. The client sees the chosen location as a long‐term commitment to the community and plans to expand significantly in the area over the next 10 years and beyond.
