FIREBREAKS & BURNING RESTRICTIONS The firebreak deadline of Monday 5 October 2026 has now passed. Property owners and occupiers must maintain all required firebreaks and fire-prevention measures until 1 May 2027. Burning is prohibited from 1 October to 28 February. Burning permits are not available during this period.
