Inspect the drain near your property and clear leaves, trash, and other debris from the drain, then place the debris in the proper waste container. Never wash debris down the drain. Storm drains help move water off city streets and into local creeks, channels, nature preserves, and eventually to the river to limit street flooding. If you notice a clogged storm drain or drainage problem, report it by calling the 24-hour Public Works hotline at 916-687-3005.

Experience the season with sparkle and shine at this all new multicultural community celebration. Festivities held at District56 will feature a fun run, entertainment, holiday vendors, the City’s first official tree lighting ceremony, and the annual parade of lights. Get into the holiday spirit and gather your friends and family at Elk Grove’s newest holiday experience.
