This is where it all begins! The Cupertino Preschool Tiny Tots program encourages social development through group activities and play. Class activities include a mix of music and singing, learning the alphabet, finger plays, stories, and circle time. We encourage exploration and learn about our emotions and our world around us. Using imaginary play, we teach about our neighbors, holiday traditions, and much more. Art in a variety of forms is part of our daily activities. We also value physical play and incorporate it into our every day.

The Cupertino Preschool Super Tots program will expand on the child’s development and provide enriching activities that will prepare the student for kindergarten. Activities include handwriting, sequence of the days, counting, music, art, science, games, creative play, and more. We encourage independence through various activities and learn about our physical world - the weather, the earth, our food, and our environment. Every day we use various art components to teach fine motor skills and creative thinking that are critical to kindergarten readiness. We also value physical play and incorporate it into our every day.
• Registration for the 2023-2024 preschool opens Jan 31, 2023 for returning students, Feb 7, 2023 for residents, and Feb 14, 2023 for non-residents.
• Register online at reg4rec.org for the 2023-2024 preschool year.
• Proof of age and immunization records are required. Submit records after registering for the program.
• Residency is based on 95014 zip code.

• The yearly fee has been broken down into three sessions.

Your child will spend a fun and educational week exploring the natural wonders of McClellan Ranch Preserve and the Stevens Creek Corridor! Using all their senses they will explore the Preserve to learn secrets about the animals, plants, insects, and trees that live there. They will also enjoy nature crafts, stories, and games. Each camper will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Please bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a bag lunch each day. No camp 7/4.

Birding Basics 1

From enormous Eagles and Vultures to tiny Warblers and Goldfinches, this two-part class will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills you need to recognize our local birds. If you are already a birder, this refresher will improve your current skills. You will learn how to find and identify the common birds of Cupertino as well as other nearby birding locations. In the first session, students will learn essential binocular and field guide use, and the fundamentals of bird identification. In Session two, students will enjoy a guided field trip to McClellan Ranch where they will practice finding and identifying local birds with our expert instructors.
Join-A-Ranger is park ranger-led, family-friendly programs in the Stevens Creek Corridor. These programs educate and entertain park visitors. City of Cupertino park rangers are your local experts, with plenty of stories and fascinating facts about steelhead trout, mountain lions, native raptors, the riparian ecosystem, local history, and more.
