Since its opening in 1928, the Jetty Memorial Theatre has been a cherished part of Coffs Harbour’s cultural landscape, bringing people together to share in the joy of live performance. The historic venue, with unique Art Deco charm and impeccable acoustics, is this year inviting us to embark on A Season of Discovery.
The 2026 program is packed with incredible experiences featuring a stunning blend of local, national and international talent. The program showcases classics alongside the contemporary, with a vibrant mix of theatre, opera, comedy, circus, live music, indie cinema and playful experiences for audiences of all ages.

The Annual Season is a key element of The Jetty Theatre’s programming, highlighting a vibrant mix of performances from local, national, and international creators.
This season, we invite you to look beyond the stage where each performance offers more than just a show, it’s an invitation to explore new ideas, emotions, and worlds that extend far beyond the spotlight.

We acknowledge the Gumbaynggirr people as the first artists, the first storytellers, the first creators of culture and the Traditional Custodians of this Land. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Keith Potger’s solo tribute to the group he helped to form back in 1962 covers the songs, the stories and the influences that shaped The Seekers in their rise to international fame. CELEBRATING THE SEEKERS - 60 Years is an audio-visual treat, with rare footage and still photos of the group. His 12-string guitar was an integral part of their sound and being the arranger of the vocal harmonies he had a unique place in the group. During his performance Keith pays a special tribute to his colleague and dear friend of 60 years, the late and great JUDITH DURHAM. Keith is known to countless fans, and this is obvious in the welcome given to him by audiences that have enjoyed his performances of CELEBRATING THE SEEKERS - 60 Years.

the ‘60s to the ‘80s that influenced the group and appeal to the generation who grew up playing SEEKERS albums at home or in the car. Throughout his show, Keith shares stories and amusing anecdotes from almost 60 years on the international music scene. Keith unfailingly delivers up-beat, heartwarming events that leave audiences reliving their fondest memories.

A theatrical secret that is only shared live
From Womad, London Jazz Festival, Auckland Arts Festival, Rome Jazz Festival to Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Recital Hall, Eishan Ensemble have performed at the most well-known venues and festivals around the world since it was formed in 2016 in Sydney.
Led by acclaimed Persian Australian tar virtuoso and composer, Hamed Sadeghi, the ARIA nominated Eishan Ensemble draws on contemporary and classical music traditions of both East and West. Eishan’s repertoire consists predominantly of Sadeghi’s original compositions with diverse improvisatory idioms featured powerfully. Variously described as “Persian chamber jazz” and “Eastern jazz fusion”, Eishan defies neat labels.
Sadeghi’s psychedelic virtuosity is joined by the individual talents of Michael Avgenicos on saxophone, Adem Yilmaz
on percussions and Maximillian Alduca on double bass to create the layered and sophisticated soundscapes of Eishan.
Funded by Creative Australia and Create NSW, their fourth studio album, Northern Rhapsody, was composed during a creative residency in regional Australia and reflects an ongoing exploration of inner and outer landscapes. Inspired by the textures and stillness of the Australian inland- its winding rivers, rock formations, eucalyptus scents, and vivid sunsets- the work meditates on connection, transformation, and belonging.

After a big show at Coffs Jetty Theatre last year with WILLING PARTICIPANT, Logie-winning actor and award-winning storyteller Rob Carlton returns with his brand-new show – VIRGIN IN A KNIFE FIGHT - four true tales of chaos, charm and accidental heroism.
It begins with 18-year-old Rob on the backstreets of Salzburg in a three-person knife fight — despite never having used his travel knife on anything tougher than cheese. From there, the stories tumble through university misadventure, courtroom mayhem on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and a moving moment of fatherhood and friendship that lands straight in the heart.
Rob brings the same mix of sharp comedy, emotional truth and masterful timing that made his previous show such a hit.

The first concert Dorian ever attended (with his parents) was Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick at the Horden Pavilion in Sydney when he was just 10 years old. That magical evening sparked a lifelong passion for the timeless compositions of Bacharach and his lyrical counterpart Hal David. While his peers were immersed in rock anthems, Dorian was studying jazz piano and vocals at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music but also losing himself in the sophisticated melodies and heartfelt lyrics of songs like “Walk on By” and “This Guy’s in Love with You.” Dorian considers Bacharach to be the final torchbearer in the lineage of great American composers that includes Porter, Berlin, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart.
In this meticulously crafted tribute, Dorian’s trio breathe new life into the songbook that defined an era. Journey through the remarkable Bacharach-

No action without reaction –Coexistence is a compelling showcase of contemporary percussion performance. Sound artists Alexander Meagher and Jesse Vivante present an expansive visual and sonic odyssey: arty, bold, and memorable.
Coexistence is a full-length doublebill concert. It features Meagher’s A Brilliant Seagull, a lush exploration of musical storytelling through traditional percussion practice, paired with Vivante’s Omni-Omni, an avant-garde journey with percussion, electronics, and movement.

Alexander Meagher is a dynamic Naarm/Melbourne percussionist known for adventurous repertoire and evocative performances. A classically trained soloist and ensemble musician, he performs widely-from Moirai Ensemble to MSO, Orchestra Victoria, Speak Percussion, and major festivals

Jesse Vivante - Percussion
Jesse Vivante is a Boorloo/Perthborn percussionist and composer whose work blends emotion, human experience, and multidisciplinary collaboration. A WAAPA and ANAM graduate and 2023/24 Speak Percussion Bespoke Artist, his recent projects include Fall With Me, Omni-Omni, Convergence, Promises, Metaphysical, and The Milk Carton Confessions.

A percussive feast for the eyes, ears and curious mind
Ella Hooper brings her brand new album to the Jetty Memorial Theatre bringing a sharp, heartfelt edge to her everevolving take on Americana.
There are bar room stompers, spectral ballads with a contemporary edge, and hooks sharp enough to draw blood. Ella’s songwriting has long been celebrated in her home country, but what shines more clearly than ever before on this new set is Hooper’s voice. Big, bold, unguardedstill elastic but now with a lived-in truth.
Ella has clearly clocked the hours that makes singing her songs as natural as breathing air, cackling with laughter, shedding a tear.

Oliver! is a heartwarming and thrilling musical based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel Oliver Twist. The story follows young orphan Oliver Twist, who escapes the harsh conditions of a Victorian workhouse in London and runs away to the city in search of a better life. There, he falls in with a group of street-smart boys led by the cunning yet charismatic Artful Dodger and their mysterious master, Fagin, who trains them as pickpockets.
As Oliver navigates the dangers of the city, he encounters both kindness and cruelty, including the warm-hearted Nancy, who struggles between loyalty and doing what is right, and the terrifying criminal Bill Sikes. Coffs Harbour & District Eisteddfod

2026 is the 54th Year of the Coffs Harbour & District Eisteddfod. This year will bring the Dance discipline to the historic Jetty Memorial Theatre once again along with a final Gala Concert.
Dance performers of all ages and genres will be tapping, jiving and pirouetting from the 11th June, culminating in a Finals of Awards and exciting presentations during the Gala Concert which will also include performances from Instrumental, Dance and School Choirs. The Coffs Harbour Eisteddfod is a non-for-profit organization providing opportunities of performances, prizes, workshops and Masterclasses to local students (and some adults!).
The Eisteddfod acknowledges the support from the City of Coffs Harbour and local businesses including the major overall sponsor for 2026, RJK Optometry.

A patient who thinks he’s got a private room with a mini bar.
Dr Connolly is busy with the upcoming Hospital Pantomime and needs to sort out the costumes. A very strict Matron adds to the chaos along with the Sister. Enter Dr Bonney who is soon to be involved in a mad cap storyline whether he likes it or not. As the story gets more and more complicated other characters join in the mayhem. The Jetty Theatre is an intimate proscenium arch theatre with a capacity of 252, featuring both flat floor and tiered seating. Elegantly furbished with art-deco features, great acoustics and an intimate vibe, the Jetty theatre makes for a unique and memorable experience. Seating arrangements can be varied to provide cabaret style seating, facilitating either a dance floor or alternate performance space which allows for a wide variety of acts to be accommodated.
Designed to provide a level of comfort and technical excellence, the Jetty Theatre attracts a great variety of national touring shows as well as many local events and is equipped to host a wide range of functions.
Front of house facilities include the box office which provides a comprehensive ticketing facility, foyer, refreshment bar, accessible seating and outdoor deck area. There are no refunds on tickets purchased except if an event is cancelled or rescheduled as outlined in the Live Performance Australia Code of Practice. We are located at 337 Harbour Drive, Coffs Harbour. There is ample parking along Harbour Drive and Edinburgh St. Please be considerate when visiting the theatre and do not restrict any driveways or park in restricted areas.
Phones, cameras & recording equipment
Due to copyright requirements and to ensure an enjoyable theatre experience for all patrons, cameras and recording equipment are not permitted. Please ensure your mobile phone is turned off out of consideration.
Latecomers
Please be aware that latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Please make sure you are seated in plenty of time. We do have a monitor in the foyer to view the performance if you are locked out.
Infants attending performances
We welcome people of all ages to experience events at the Jetty Memorial Theatre. Children under three may be admitted free of charge and without a ticket (excluding designated children’s performances). Children under three without a ticket will not be allocated a seat and must be seated on the lap of a parent of guardian for the duration of the event. Please consider the interests and enjoyment of others when bringing children into the theatre. Designated children’s performances, i.e. performances programmed specifically for children DO require children under the age of 3 to be admitted with a ticket. Babes in arms (under 12 months) do not require a ticket but please be aware that it is your responsibility to ensure the disturbance of other patrons is avoided. Designated childrens’ performances will be clearly identified on the website. A limited number of booster seats are available for better viewing. Please see our friendly staff. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Gift certificates
Jetty Memorial Theatre Gift Certificates make an ideal gift for Christmas or a special occasion. They are available in amounts $20, $50, $100, $200 or the amount of your choosing, both online and at the Box Office. The recipient has the flexibility to choose performances, dates and times. Our Gift Certificates are valid for three years.
