The “Opportunity for Every Child (OEC)” creates scholarship opportunities for households of need that cover up to fifty percent of the registration fees for youth programs offered through the Community Services Department. Open Gym Hours: During open gym hours, the court is available for drop-in activities. Children ages ten and younger must have direct adult supervision; ages 11-15 must have an adult present in the building
Open Gym – Half Court: Half-court games are only allowed if people are waiting Net games are not allowed if other people are in the gym. Open Gym – Full Court: Available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Full-court games are allowed. If court space is available, patrons may set up volleyball, badminton, or pickleball nets
Minors accompanied by an adult may check-in or pay an entry fee and enter under the accompanying adult's responsibility (age restrictions per facility amenity or program apply). Unaccompanied children, ages 16-17, must have a membership or an annual guest waiver form on file and are eligible to use the first and second floor of the Community Recreation Center. Unaccompanied children, ages 11-15, must have a membership or an annual guest waiver form on file and may attend the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center (No Fee), the CRC – Teen Gym (membership or day fee required), or an instructor-led program. Unaccompanied children, age 10 and younger, are not allowed unless accompanied by an adult or attending an instructor-led program
Minors ages 11-17 must wear a wristband during each visit.
Membership to the CRC includes unlimited usage, group fitness classes, drop-in activities, fitness consultation, discount on programs offered at the CRC, 20% discount on CRC room rentals, and a season swim pass to the Palm Island Aquatic Center (open seasonally May-September)

The CRC has a room for your next birthday party, baby shower, family gathering, banquet, or event. Rooms are rented by event package and size. All reservations include room, access to the prep kitchen. Parties have access to a gymnasium, open lawn, and tables/chairs.

Selling items to the public, religious services, or political campaigns are prohibited. The rental fee includes 30 minute set-up and 30 minute cleanup.
Parties: A party is an event with no Band/DJ for a dance. Rental includes room and shared recreation space (basketball court, open lawn, and activity room -if available). Prep kitchen, tables, and chairs included with rental for the party size, plus sixty minutes before the event for set-up and half an hour after for cleanup.
Celebration: A celebration is any event with a Band/DJ for a dance The rental fee includes a room and shared space (basketball court, open lawn, and activity room -if available). Prep kitchen, eighteen tables, and one-hundred-fifty chairs included, plus two hours before the event for set-up and one hour after for cleanup. The renter must provide a certificate of insurance for general liability.
Damage Deposit: The damage deposit is refunded after the event if no claims are made against it. Damage deposits are retained if the reservation is cancelled within thirty days of the event. Meeting: $100 | Party: $250 | Celebration: $500
Alcohol Policy: Events with alcohol are charged an additional $50 hr. for additional staff to ensure alcohol remains in the rented room. Renters must also provide a COI with host liquor liability insurance, and will be required to hire off-duty officers from the Casa Grande Police Department for security.
Tables, Chairs, Set Up & Clean Up: CRC staff set up tables/chairs and cleans room after use Renter is responsible for setup and takedown of decorations. Costs vary by event and room.
Ramadas at Carr McNatt, Dave White, Ed Hooper, North Mountain (A, B, C), O’Neil, Peart, and Villago Park may be reserved online or in-person at the Community Recreation Center no less than seven (7) business days prior to the date of use. Ramadas at Albert Cruz, Burruss, Gilbert, Mosley, North Mountain, Rancho Grande, Rotary, and West parks are available on a first come first serve basis.
Payment is required at the time of reservation request. Reservations with parties of more than 150 people, may be required to provide a $110 clean-up deposit, liability insurance, and/or Special Event Application. Most ramada’s are equipped with electricity, picnic tables, grill, and play equipment or other amenities.

Personally owned inflatables are not permitted in City parks. Park users must use a vendor that has a City of Casa Grande business license and liability insurance. An approved inflatable vendor list is available by contacting the Community Recreation Center.
The Elzy Pearson public shooting range features five (5) shooting bays available for free on a first come, first serve basis. Bays can be reserved with a minimum of seven (7) days advance notice. All reservations require general liability insurance. Individuals or Businesses using bays for instructional teaching to the public are required to provide general liability insurance, their business license, a trained range safety officer(s) and must follow all Federal, State, and local firearm laws. The Dorothy Powell Senior Center operates with the coordination of multi-purpose services and programs, for a person living independently or with families within the City of Casa Grande and the surrounding communities. The Senior Center serves individuals aged 50 years or older in order to promote independence, personal enrichment and an enhanced quality of life. The Dorothy Powell Senior Center offers a nutritiously balanced meal to seniors 50 years of age or older. Family members are also welcomed to come and join seniors for lunch. For individuals 60 years of age or older the suggested donation for lunch is $4. For individuals 50-59 years of age, lunch is $6. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM
The Dorothy Powell Senior Center provides transportation services to/from the center. Transportation is available to seniors ages 50 and older. It is $3 per stop for seniors 50-59. For individuals 60 and older it is a suggested donation of $3 per stop. Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:45 PM

The Keep Casa Grande Beautiful
program enables community and civic organizations, as well as private businesses and individuals, to actively participate in enhancing the overall appearance of Casa Grande streets. Streets are adopted in onemile segments and groups agree to remove trash/debris a minimum of two times per year for at least a two-year period.
