NUNN’S CREEK & FRANK JAMES PARKS MASTERPLANS
About the Nunn’s Creek & Frank James Parks Masterplans Improving the quality of open space in Campbell River is a long-term objective for the City. Nunn’s Creek Park and Frank James Park are two important parks for the community, both needing forward-looking planning to consider how they will evolve. Through this process, a masterplan will be created for each park that considers the issues and opportunities of today, listens to ideas for the future, and creates a strategic, phased plan for achieving change over time.
Why are these Masterplans being developed together? Nunn’s Creek Park and Frank James Park provide very different park services and experiences. They are located in different corners of the community, with varied user groups and activities. However, both are in need of planning for the future, so they are being studied concurrently to maximize efficiency and minimize cost and use of community resources. Plus, this is an opportunity for you to learn more about two great spaces in your community.
