How to Register for Recreation Programs

STEP ONE:

Go to buckeyeaz.gov/rec

Click the Registration Button

You’ll find this button on the top of every page. Once clicked, you will be taken to an outside website where you will begin the registration process. Please note you MUST have an online account created in order to register for any programs.

STEP THREE:

Log In or Create an Account

Under the login section enter your username and password and select “login”. If you do not have an account select “Create account.” Please note when creating an account, make sure you select “Add member” this will give the option to add additional members to your household. The participant MUST be added to your household when creating the account or the option to sign them up will not be available.

STEP FOUR:

Search for Programs and Register

• Once you have logged in, under the search section, you will be given the option to search programs by category, keywords or activity number.

• Next, once a class selection has been made, select the class by clicking the green plus sign to the left of the class then click the “Add to Cart” option that appears at the bottom of the screen. Choose the family member you are signing up and “Add to Cart”. Repeat for each individual family member by selecting “Continue Shopping”.

• Once complete, click “Proceed” to check out and pay for your programs.

REFUND POLICY: All program cancellation/refund requests must be submitted at lease 4 days prior to the start date of the program unless otherwise noted. Cancellation requests due to medical reasons not submitted 4 days in advance are required to provide documentation to receive pro-rated refund. All requests are subject to $2 cancellation fee.

The B.A.S.E. program provides a safe and exciting place for children enrolled in Kindergarten – 8th grade, to be in out-of-school time. The mission of the Kid’s B.A.S.E. program is to provide an environment that keeps youth safe while preparing them for success. Our creative programming will enhance self-confidence, self-expression, social skills and cognitive skills while keeping youth physically active. B.A.S.E. is located at various campuses in Buckeye and regulated by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Program sites are open on early release days; however are closed on national holidays or when school campus is closed. Program accepts DES funding; if fee assistance is needed please contact the Department of Economic Security at 623-925-0095.

Before Care: $35 / week or $8 / day

After Care: $60 / week or $12 / day

Monday Care Fees: $25 / day (Tartesso only)

After Care Fees: $12 / day or $48 Tues – Fri

Registration

Children must be enrolled in grades K-8th. Registration packets include an emergency contact form, discipline policy and packets are available online at buckeyeaz.gov or at either of our recreation centers. A copy of the child's immunization records must be submitted at time of registration along with registration fee plus first week of care. All registrations must be completed 48 hours prior to start date.

Lil’ Squirts preschool summer program emphasizes learning through play incorporating a variety of seasonal themes helping kids develop those important social, group and independent skills. This is a licensed program. Registration packet, child’s immunizations, registration fee as well as first week’s payment required for registration.

AGES 3 – 5 years old (must be fully potty trained)

PROGRAM FEES $55 per week

(DES funding accepted)
