These five-week programs are designed to introduce the basic fundamentals of sports for children ages 3-4 years old. Participants will learn the game and have fun building friendships in a non-threatening environment. Equal participation is a guarantee. Children must be 3-4 years old at the start time of the program to register. Flag Football, Soccer and Basketball will feature three weeks of instructional stations, followed by the final two weeks of organized game play. Cheerleading will feature three weeks of instruction, with the final two weeks used to cheer during the flag football games.

The focus of this program is to teach the fundamentals of athletic development. Participants will learn the techniques of sprinting, deceleration, change of direction, and agility. The goal of each session will be to equip the athletes with all the skills necessary to play any sport they choose with a reduced risk of injury, all in a positive and fun environment!

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The City of Blue Springs offers transportation services for residents 60 years and older and adults with disabilities ages 18-59. The City contracts with OATS Transportation Services for medical and/or shopping trips within Blue Springs. Our door-to-door pick-up and return service to Vesper Hall has been temporarily suspended due to staff shortages. We will make an announcement via social media, our newsletter and throughout Vesper Hall once it immediately resumes. LUNCH
