105th Avenue Construction Update The 105th Avenue reconstruction project remains on schedule. To date the contractor has constructed the east bound lanes and will finish the trails and sidewalk on the south side of the street yet this fall. In early November, traffic can expect to be switched to the newly constructed lanes for the remainder of this construction season and will remain over the winter. If the weather continues to hold this fall, the contractor is scheduled to replace the water main along the north side of the project from Davenport Street to Radisson Road. They are also scheduled to remove most of the existing bituminous on the west bound lanes and start preparing the grade for curb and gutter. If all goes well the roadway should be ready for curb and gutter first thing in the spring. The project is scheduled to be completed prior to the National Sports Center’s USA Cup Tournament in July. Continue to visit the City’s web page for project updates and the most current information. If you have any questions, please contact Dan Schluender at 763-785-6158.
