As we turn the page to a brand-new year, there’s no better time to reconnect with your neighbors, with nature and with the things that bring you joy. Here in American Canyon, winter and spring offer the perfect opportunity to embrace the season, try something new and enjoy all the incredible programs and parks our community has to offer. We’re thrilled to kick off a new season with programs that inspire connections, encourage active lifestyles and celebrate everything that makes American Canyon a great place to live, work and play.

Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the community, there’s something for everyone— youth sports, creative classes, outdoor adventures and seasonal celebrations. Bundle up for a hike at Newell Open Space Preserve, explore the scenic Wetlands trails or join us for outdoor events in our parks.

We’re also offering meaningful ways to give back, with volunteer opportunities like Earth Day celebrations, as well as family-friendly gatherings such as the Bunny Brunch at the Mikolajcik Center on Saturday, March 28.

Looking ahead, our summer camp schedule for ages 5 - 14 is now available. These camps are designed to keep kids active and engaged, with a wide variety of activities ranging from sports, field trips and outdoor play. Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly; early registration is strongly encouraged.

In addition to programs, our city facilities and parks are valuable resources for our community. From hosting birthday parties to family reunions, these spaces provide the perfect backdrop for creating long lasting memories. You’ll find plenty of options, quiet picnic spots, rooms for special events and parks for neighborhood gatherings, all right here in your own backyard.

See you around & happy adventures,
