In 2025, we have several exciting projects underway within our parks. For more details, please visit our website at AmericanCanyon.gov/ConstructionUpdates.
In American Canyon, parks and recreation aren’t just about open spaces and activities, they’re about connection. Whether it’s your child’s first soccer game, a walk through the Wetlands or bumping into familiar and friendly faces at one of our events, these are the moments that bring us together and make our city feel like home.
This fall, we’re honored to host The Wall That Heals, a powerful replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, from October 16-19. This moving exhibition is more than just an event; it’s a chance for reflection, education and unity. It’s just one of the ways our team is working to create meaningful experiences for all ages.
We’re excited for another season of play, discovery and community spirit. Whether you’re joining a class, volunteering at an event or simply enjoying one of our parks, we hope this guide inspires you to get up, get out and play.
With warm(pumpkin-spiced) regards,
Alexandra Ikeda Deputy City Manager
