how to save money on groceries

The cost of groceries can add up quickly. These tips and tricks will help you plan your next shopping trip while saving some coin.

Make a List – Plan meals and create a shopping list to avoid impulse purchases and stay within budget.

Use Cash Only – Bring only the amount of money you plan to spend to avoid overspending.

Buy in Bulk (Smartly) – Take advantage of bulk deals, but avoid overbuying perishables that could go to waste.

Use a Basket Instead of a Cart – Using a basket can help limit how much you buy and reduce time spent in the store.

Shop at Discount Stores – Explore dollar stores and compare prices at different grocery stores to find better deals.

Buy Generic Brands – Store-brand products are usually 20–25% cheaper than name brands and often have the same quality.
