

Board members voted to use grant funding to replace more than 800 street light bulbs with environmentally friendly, sustainable LED fixtures. The conversion will save 1 million kilowatt hours of electricity, enough to power 100 homes for an entire year.

Shoutout to the Parks and Recreation department for the successful launch of their summer day camps! Campers have had the opportunity to learn and play in Little Rock with activities such as exploring the Little Rock Zoo, participating in swim lessons, and trying their hand at the game of pool. Thank you to the Parks and Rec team for helping make this a safe and fun summer for our youth.
Jacquelyn Wilson is recognized for her professionalism, initiative, and steadfast support of Truancy Court. She is a trusted resource for outside agency coordinators and officers and consistently steps in to assist wherever needed. Her dedication reflects exceptional service, enthusiasm within the culture, and excellence in everything we do at the City Attorney’s Office.
Personnel planned, executed, and managed two simultaneous mass public gatherings. The Rock the Country Festival for two days and the Juneteenth Celebration.
Tyesha Newby-Heard and Nathan Moss. Both have been instrumental in helping to get the audit where we are almost done as of the end of June (our annual goal).
Currently everything has been submitted to the auditors, and we are just waiting on them. Tyesha and Nathan both took on any additional tasks that were assigned to them in order to help move the audit along even if it was not within their normal job duties and rather were assigned to someone else.
