Operations and Intelligence Center

The Operations and Intelligence Center (COI) of Jaguariúna is a modern camera monitoring center for the city.

The IOC room has a complete infrastructure of cameras capable of monitoring the main avenues and streets of the city. In this way, the population has one more piece of security equipment, which joins the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) in the fight against crime in the municipality.

Since its installation, the IOC has already helped to curb and intervene when necessary, in several occurrences captured by the monitoring cameras. The Operations and Intelligence Center works integrated with the Infoseg network, which is a national bank of shared information in the area of security.

New Fire Department base

The New Base of the Jaguariúna Fire Department is the result of a partnership between the city hall and the Government of the State of São Paulo. It received investments in the order of R$ 500,000 from the State Government and R$ 150,000 from the City Hall, which also bought a self-pump truck, in the amount of R$ 600,000.

The new unit is located at Rua Maranhão, nº 1809, in Capotuna and has 15 military firefighters, a rescue vehicle and a self-pump truck. In addition to other essential rescue and fire-fighting equipment for carrying out the group’s work.

With an area of 1,500 m², with 700 m² of construction divided into two floors. On the first floor are the reception, administration room, kitchen, dining room, accommodation, locker room, PPE room, storage room and bathrooms. In the second are the administration rooms - direction, training and meeting of the Civil Defense. In addition to ample parking for vehicles, which the unit has.

It is estimated that with the new Base, the time to respond to incidents in the municipality will drop from 50 minutes to 8 minutes.

Fireman at School Project

The Fireman at School Project is carried out by the Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo, in schools in Jaguariúna. With the aim of training children and young people to identify possible risk situations and thus avoid them.

Aimed at students in the 4th year of Elementary School I, the Project has already been carried out in schools: Mayor Joaquim Pires Sobrinho I, Professor Irineu Expedito Ferrari and Professor Sada Salomão Horssi.

During the implementation of the Project, students received a booklet with preventive and educational content.
