Throughout the growing season, Broomfield Master Gardeners provide mobile clinics at convenient community locations. These trained CSU Extension volunteers will answer your garden questions, diagnose plant health problems and provide free resources for a successful season! PRESCHOOL NATURE WALKS
These walks are designed especially for preschoolers and their guardians. Take a walk with naturalists through Broomfield's open space areas. Learn about the animal and plant life in your own backyard. Explore the area and learn about nature while having fun. There is no charge for these programs! WINTER MOONLIGHT WALK
Bundle up and enjoy an enchanting Winter Moonlight Nature Experience at Siena Reservoir. Enjoy the wonders of nature while viewing the moon and stars. View the nighttime sky through a telescope, listen to an exciting story from Spellbinders, and learn interesting facts about winter wildlife. PAPER SHREDDING EVENT
Broomfield residents can bring confidential tax, medical, bank, and other forms for professional destruction services. There is a limit of three bankers or copy papersized boxes, weighing no more than 35 pounds each, per resident or up to three 32-gallon trash bags of already shredded paper. No registration required.

PRESCRIPTION DRUG WASTE PROGRAM
It's not safe to flush prescription drugs down the toilet or throw them in the household trash. Broomfield Environmental Services and Police Department have partnered with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to provide a safe drop-off for proper disposal of prescription drugs. No appointment necessary.

WASTE OIL RECYCLING
Also offered the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to noon. Acceptable types of oil are automotive engine, transmission, and differential, as well as used cooking oil and antifreeze. No appointment necessary.
