Sellman Park

This 10-acre park features a variety of facilities, from tennis courts and soccer fi elds to a picnic shelter and concession stand, perfect for getting active or spending a the day relaxing. Its proximity to Madeira Middle School makes it a great location to spend the afternoon with kids after school.

McDonald Commons

There’s plenty of space to spread out at this 17-acre park, which is the largest in the city. McDonald Commons has space for baseball, soccer, tennis, and other outdoor recreation, and features a picnic shelter, playground equipment, and wooded areas. The park will also debut all-new playground equipment in 2023.

Nelle V. Hosbrook Bird Sanctuary

This park was willed to the city in 1975 by Nelle V. Hosbrook, a descendent of one of Madeira’s fi rst settlers, to provide a space for fellow nature enthusiasts. The twoacre bird sanctuary features a walking trail, scenic wooded area, and a picnic space.
