What is Cherry Hill Living
?
Cherry Hill Living is a private, gated Park Model and RV Community located on the edge of the Canadian Shield, 4 km east of Steinbach in Manitoba, Canada, 52 km SE of Winnipeg.
We offer private casual camping for fully serviced RVs, cabin and RV rentals, luxury seasonal RV sites and year-round Park Model Resort Living. There is a 20-acre, 10-metre-deep lake with fresh, spring-fed water.
Peaceful non-motorized water sports include swimming, floating, kayaks, SUPs and fishing. There are public docks and 1.5 kilometres of sand beach.
Sites are spacious (50’ x 70’) surrounded by mature trees. Utility services are state-of-the-art.
Our properties are hidden gems with proximity to city services, offering country charm with city convenience.
We are adjacent to the Quarry Oaks 27-hole golf course and Restaurant.
The nearby city of Steinbach boasts advanced fire, police, hospital and emergency services, multiple building centres and grocery chains, an aquatic centre & water slide, a brand new athletic & arts centre with multiple arenas, a curling rink and a movie theatre.

The Legacy of Cherry Hill Living
Cherry Hill Living is built upon land that was originally homesteaded by the Wiens family in the mid-1940s. Under the Homesteaders Act, settlers were granted titles to land in exchange for occupancy and cultivation. The Wiens family worked tirelessly for generations, developing their farm and shaping the land into a thriving homestead.
A testament to their dedication, the family hand-built a barn in 1945 using poplar trees harvested from the property and milled on site. This original barn still stands today, now serving as the Cherry Hill Living Clubhouse. Inside, the same sturdy timbers that once formed the backbone of the homestead remain visible, preserving a tangible connection to the past. An original sawmill blade, salvaged from the early days, is proudly displayed—an enduring tribute to the craftsmanship and perseverance of those who came before.
In 2000, the Fehr family acquired the property from the granddaughter of the original homesteaders. Over the past 25 years, with contributions spanning five generations, they have thoughtfully designed, built and managed Cherry Hill Living. Their first priority was the careful restoration of the historic hip-roof barn, ensuring its rich history and character were preserved. Today, this beautifully restored structure blends handcrafted heritage with a welcoming western bar atmosphere and modern amenities. It remains the heart of Cherry Hill Living, anchoring the property as it continues to evolve.
Now, the second generation of Fehrs, Sean and Janice, proudly call Cherry Hill Living home. As present-day hosts, they continue the tradition of hospitality, care and stewardship, welcoming guests to experience the warmth and legacy of this remarkable place.

Cherry Hill Living BIG RED BARN CLUBHOUSE
The Big Red Barn Clubhouse is a facility where families and friends can gather; located in the original homesteaders 75year-old hip-roof barn.
The renovation of the barn into a rustic entertainment centre has resulted in a unique, intriguing space. The exposed barn boards were milled from local trees by a specialized one-man sawmill.

WINTER AT THE HILL
Horse-drawn sleigh rides throughout the resort, ice skating on the outdoor ice rink, bonfires and more. This event is a great way for you to enjoy winter at The Hill with your friends and family.
COMMUNITY YARD SALE
Get rid of those gently-used items. The spring yard sale is a great way to stroll around the park, meet your neighbours and get some awesome deals!
FAMILY FUN DAY
A full day of family activities complete with food trucks, games, face painting, bouncy castle and a family scavenger hunt throughout the park. The corn-hole tournaments are always a favourite.
Cherry Hill Living ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENTS
SITE HOLDER PICNIC
We host an annual picnic dinner for our site holders, and site holders get together at the Barn Clubhouse to vote on their favourite Photo Contest entries. It’s a great time to catch up with everyone in the park!
FIREWORKS
The fireworks are for the entertainment of site holders and their guests. The private enclosed area of the resort creates spectacular effects.
HALLOWEEN IN THE PARK
Get a jump start on Halloween in the summer! Decorate your site and hand out treats or meander around the park trickor-treating with your kids and grandkids!
CONCERT ON THE BEACH
The finale to summertime, featuring live music and a dance floor on the beach.

THE LAKE
The lake is the main attraction of Cherry Hill Living. Our Lake is 20 acres large and 10 metres deep, and is ringed with over a mile of beach. The lake is spring-fed, with shimmering blue, fresh waters. It’s an ideal oasis for nonmotorized activities including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and catch-and-release fishing. The Resort has community docks and beaches for woodland site holders. The Kiddie Pond is one metre deep with lighted fountains.
HIKING & BIKING
Our walking bridge leads to miles of Cherry Hill Living hiking and mountain biking trails. Our private drive around the lake serves as a safe and smooth one-mile-long walking, jogging and cycling route for our active site holders.

The community garden was a special request by many site holders, and is coordinated by volunteers. You can book your space in the garden and have fresh produce throughout the summer!

If you're interested in getting your 'sweat on' the pickle ball courts are adjacent to our clubhouse. This newly-enhanced facility is available for those competitive moments! There are currently two courts with more in the works for this fast growing, exciting new sport for all ages.
PETS
We welcome your pets to Cherry Hill Living because we know they are part of your family. We have an off-leash dog park to make things even more exciting for our furry friends. Pet owners keep their pets under their control and immediately clean up after them.
WINTER FUN Cherry Hill Living
Glide along the lake, ski between the oaks or just hike through the many acres of nature. There is lots of exploring to be done during the winter months.
Cherry Hill features one hundred acres with trails for hiking and snowshoeing.
Try cross-country skiing on kilometres of trails maintained by the Sandilands Ski Club on the adjacent Quarry Oaks Golf Course.
