What else has Trendy Pooches been up to?

In 2020 Northern Education and Training College was formed. We are now a Training Provider and are excited to soon be delivering the new dog grooming apprenticeship hopefully coming out in Autumn this year. However, in the meantime we deliver the Level 2 Animal Care and Welfare Assistant Apprenticeship

Overview

Animal Care and Welfare Assistants look after the routine day to day husbandry and care of domestic and/ or wild animals under guidance in a variety of different settings. The work is carried out individually or as part of a team in places such as Dog Groomers kennels and catteries, etc. Animal Care and Welfare Assistants must have a strong work ethic and be prepared to work irregular hours. They must maintain safe working practices and take responsibility for themselves, animals in their care and others.

Our animal care assessors are all qualified dog groomers, and as such are able to tailor the animal care apprenticeship to cover the dog grooming industry.
