t was in 1872 that brothers Raymond and Paul Lillet founded Maison Lillet in Podensac, a small village south of Bordeaux. They were known as wine merchants before creating the first and only apéritif from Bordeaux, Lillet Blanc, in 1887, which quickly won the hearts of French apéritif lovers and has been seducing the world ever since.

The small family business took off internationally in the 1930s, especially on the Anglo-Saxon market, with the introduction of Lillet Dry, a special Lillet recipe made to be served with gin or appreciated in cocktails. From then on, Lillet has quickly become a must-have ingredient for bartenders, mixologists and

connoisseurs, and has even inspired James Bond’s famous martini, the Vesper.

The Lillet range expanded in 1962 with the creation of Lillet Rouge to answer the growing demand for red wine, led by the USA, and the latest addition to the range is Lillet Rosé, which was launched in 2011.

Today, with the growing demand for lowABV drinks, Lillet is seeing a resurgence through the Spritz serve. The Lillet Spritz is the perfect drink for a convivial apéritif moment that combines great taste, strong heritage and chic trendiness.

Both Lillet Blanc and Lillet Rosé offer a subtle blend of carefully selected French wine and fruit infusions handcrafted on site, prepared by the cellar master using
