by CIIT Obelisk
Hi, I’m Imman and I am a digital artist. I do graphic design and illustrations. I mainly work on basketball inspired works since I do love the game of basketball, but I also work on other things like logos, branding, posters and other stuff. Luckily enough, I was able to work with companies, build small companies through helping them building their branding and collab with other clothing brands.

Proud Moments As A Ciitzen
Being a Dean’s Lister. It’s not a big thing for others but for me, it is. I don’t see myself as an academic achiever, maybe other people as well since they see me as this loud, energetic, talkative, outgoing person ever since I was young. So, beyond that, I wasn’t able to prove or believe in myself that I can achieve things as long as I put my mind into it.
Being able to see my grades go up and up while being a working student on the side it put into a different perspective. That is why it’s a big thing for me because I was able to see myself in a different light. Now, I feel excited telling them my grades rather than hiding it from them.

And being featured in this zine!

Advice To Ciitzens
If you’re like me who is afraid of what will be the outcome of all this. Don’t pressure yourself becoming something you’re not yet, I know we’ve all grown up and the way we see things right now is different from how we see things when we were kids. Always remember why you were here in the first place, it’s not because of money or what will be the outcome, we don’t even know if this line of work is profitable, but you were here because you enjoy creating things when you were a kid.
Your younger self has endured a lot of things, been through things and now it is up to us to continue what they’ve started. This is not for your family, or your friends or for the money. All of this is for that kid that believed in you, believed in themselves that this is something they want to do for the rest of their lives.
So, make that kid proud.
