E T M O O N YC C L E W N ew York City is a place where every block has a story, every landmark has a personality, and
taking a wrong turn can sometimes lead to
new and exciting adventures. In this book, you’ll
travel through some of the city’s most iconic destinations—from Grand Central Terminal and the Empire State Building to Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and beyond. Along the way, your mission is simple: help a small hot dog find the safest path through each maze and make it to the finish line. Of course, in a city as busy as New York, “safest” doesn’t always mean “easiest.” You’ll need to steer clear of unexpected obstacles, dead ends, and the occasional bit of city chaos. But there's no need to rush. Every maze is packed with details worth exploring, capturing the energy, charm, and wonderfully weird character of New York life.
MAZE RULES • FIND THE SAFEST PATH FROM START TO FINISH. Hungry pigeons, tourist crowds, construction zones, angry cab drivers, and other unfortunate situations are best left unexplored.
• I'M WALKIN' HERE! The hot dog can’t jump, fly, teleport, or perform any other miraculous feats. If he can’t walk there, it isn’t the right path.
• IF YOU DON’T KNOW, DON’T GO.
• LADDERS AND BRIDGES ARE FAIR GAME. When you see them, feel free to use them to cross, climb, or continue your journey.
• LOOK UNDER AND BEHIND. Paths may pass under bridges, through tunnels, or behind objects. If the artwork clearly shows the route continuing and nothing is blocking the way, keep going.
• TAKE YOUR TIME AND ENJOY THE SCENERY. This is New York, after all. There are plenty
