hree compressor stations, six months. The function of a gas compressor station is simple, compress the gas, create more pressure between stations, and move more gas through the pipeline. The method to meet this objective, although simple, is not easy: have the three stations completely operational before November 1, 2007. Starting two stations on the same day and the third two months later and finishing all three on the same day, was a bit of a challenge; however that is what we like. The Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP) stations located in Carlisle, West Winfield, and Lafayette, New York, have gone through many changes.
