National Harbor—located in Prince George’s County, Maryland—is slated to become a mixed-use community with restaurants, shops, the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center, office, marina, and residential areas on 300 acres just south of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge on the Potomac River. Cianbro Earns OSHA VPP-STAR Status ■

LBURG, Vermont — Cianbro Corporations’s safety performance on the Missisquoi Bay Bridge was recognized recently by the Vermont Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VT-OSHA). The project is the only construction site in Vermont and only one of two in New England to be designated for participation in the Green Mountain Voluntary Protection Program (GMVPP) and one of only four sites in the State across all industries to earn VPP-STAR Status— the highest level that can be achieved within the program. “We are honored to be recognized by the State of Vermont for our safety and health achievements.
