Over the last century, CHW has been involved in all aspects of Israeli life, passionately supporting women, children, and families in Israel and Canada.

WHO WE ARE Canadian Hadassah-WIZO (CHW) is a non-political, non-religious, national network of multi-generational volunteers and professionals who strongly believe in the advancement of children and women in Israel and Canada.

We strongly believe that every human being deserves to achieve their full potential, while living in safety and security. Our support of excellent education, advanced medical care, and ground-breaking research benefits people globally, improves lives, and provides hope. By investing in Israel, we are shaping the future of the Jewish state.

By providing donors and volunteers with a vehicle to effect meaningful change through their philanthropy, CHW enables its supporters to make the world a better place.

Our youth villages provide a safe home away from home, where at-risk children can grow and heal through specialized therapy sessions, while receiving the emotional, social, and educational support they need to thrive. When women and their children are leaving WIZO emergency shelters, we help provide the basic essentials to start over safely. By providing housing, financial help, social and personal support, and employment support, women are empowered to break the cycle of domestic violence.

Students enrolled at Netanya Technological High School are at-risk youth in need of a second chance and special training to reach their academic goals. Hadassah Academic College, located in Jerusalem and serving a pluralistic student body, provides a high level of academic training despite the pandemic, ensuring future careers are not put on hold. Located in Haifa, Neri Bloomfield Academy of Design is one of the top creative schools in Israel becoming a major influencer and innovator in the world of design in a wide variety of creative fields, including graphic design, film, photography, architecture, and fashion.

CHW is creating a fresh approach to philanthropy that will generate impact, provide sustainable revenue streams, and fund social enterprises to empower women.
