The idea of keeping chickens in backyards is a growing trend, with several municipalities having passed ordinances that allow residents to do so. While storebought eggs are completely safe and wholesome, backyard chickens are growing in popularity due to a desire for people to become reacquainted with food production and better understand where and how their food is produced.
