          WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO
          The Spagnoli marble workshop is a family owned company located in Carrara, Italy.
          
    Franco Spagnoli started his activity as marble sculptor for several old studios of Carrara and Pietrasanta. His talented skills brought Franco to be well known firstly in his home town. During the years he became owner of his workshop.
          
    Passion, vision, tradition are the pillars on which he founded our company.
          
    Today the Franco Spagnoli workshop is growed up a lot and moved in a new bulding to satisfy all requests caming from different parts of the world.
          The new studio is divided in two main sectors:
          - The carving section: where we develope hand made marble statuary starting from sketches, photos and clay or plaster models.
          - The architectural section: here the design become a marble realty. Our workshop han invested in new technology for cut machine, polishing and carving.
          Thanks high quality of work we do we has established solid partnership with several companies and completed important interior projects of Churches and Cathedrals.

        The Franco Spagnoli art Studio is specialized in the production of liturgical projects. We assist the client from the design phase to on-site installation if requested to provide a turnkey product.
          
    Every project whether small or large follows the same process that begins with the creation of technical drawings and 3d renderings faithful to the finished product.
          Another very important phase is dedicated to ston consulting to ensure the use of the most suitable marble for the client. In church renovation projects thanks to our skills we are able to guarantee the exact reproduction of the existing details and marbles inside the church.

        All our projects are completely fabricated in Italy in our workshop. Starting from the simpler furnishing to a complite interior Cathedral project, we follow the same iter to guaratee to our customer the best quality of “ Made in Italy ”.

          The big deal at this project was sometimes high quality details of carvings and highest quality of marble avaible is not enought. In this particular project has taken a central role the veins contained within the block of marble. This was possibile thanks the collaboration between the architect’s vision and our experience.
          
    Franco Spagnoli spent 5 days up to the Carrara quarries in the company of the architect to search the block of marble that would meet the particular request. Thanks to our deep-rooted knowledge of marble and land we have obtained the much requested result.

        Opening Ceremony
          Franco and Luca Spagnoli were invited by the donor to be part of opening ceremony, gratefully to them for the high quality of the work.         Sculpture is the pillar on which the company was built.
          Franco Spagnoli, the founder , started out as a sculptor for the old workshops in Carrara where he learned the traditional skills and techniques handed down from the old craftsmen.
          
    He opens his own workshop and from that moment Franco Spagnoli art Studio grows continuously to become an international reality.
          The company boasts countless sculptures made during its 40 years of activity and this experience is continuously put at the service of the client and updated with the best processing technologies .
          Tradition and innovation come together to ensure maximum quality and efficiency.

    Thanks our well known artistic skill we was selected to reproduce the life size St. Michael marble statue.
          Starting from a photo and thanks the plaster concept we received from our customer ,we’ve carved this beautiful statue .
          Each detail was checked and approved from fnal customer before the shipment. The material used is white Carrara marble, that Franco Spagnoli took directly from quarry close to the workshop.

This statue had a particular importance because was blessed by Cardinal Dziwiski, who was the Pope secretary for 39 years.
