This booklet has been produced to try and answer some of the frequently asked questions that come up in the early stages of a building project, so that you are better informed before you begin, rather than finding out part way through. If you have a question which is not covered by the booklet, ask us as soon as you can. It is important that you know what you are embarking on before you begin. Property matters can become quite technical, but this booklet is intended to try and explain simply the things that you need to consider as you prepare for a building project, including how it might be funded, using so far as we can non-technical language to make it accessible to as wide an audience as possible.
