ESPN bracketologist and good friend to the Church Farm School community, Joe Lunardi, was the guest speaker at last week's Corporate Recognition Breakfast. He shared his insights on the upcoming NCAA Division 1 basketball tournament to the school's generous EITC and OSTC tax credit program donors, along with other friends in attendance. Learn

Online registration is now open for Church Farm School's upcoming gala, "Broadway Bound," with performances by the CFS Choir (who will be performing at Carnegie Hall in 2016), and the exciting Main Line a cappella group, "The Tonics," founded by Jim Buck and George Gephart.

Alumni Reunion Weekend April 24-26, 2015 "Broadway Bound" Gala May 1, 2015 Wayne Art Center 6:30 p.m.
Our winter track team has had an incredible season, culminating in some great finishes at States. Our 4x200 relay team (Osiris Nicholson '15, Nkosi Pile '15, Stephen Zarycranski '16 and Ahmad Thomas '15) finished 6th overall, while Nicholson and Pile placed 2nd and 4th in the 60m dash, respectively.
Nicholson's time of 6.95 is the new school record! Well done guys, and special kudos to coaches Wrice and Grant. The varsity basketball team lost in the District Championship 65-63 to Bristol High School, after an incredibly well-fought season. Congrats to coaches Turner, Dunbar and Yocum and the entire team, especially senior Mike Mohammed who put 33 points on the board! Finally, congratulations to juniors Nuri James, Tristan Spivey '16 and Timothy Lopez who wrestled at Regionals. While they didn't win, they represented our school extremely well. Thanks to Coach Smith and the entire team on a great season.
 Annual Etiquette Dinner a Treat for Cottage Prefects and Faculty
Cottage Prefect Program Director Zachary Roberts continued his annual tradition of teaching students the finer points of dinner etiquette through a delicious seven-course meal prepared by school caterer Sodexo. Several female faculty and staff were invited to attend, and Marketing and Communications Manager Stefanie Claypoole was happy to blog about all of the lessons learned and reiterated, along with the highlights of the meal. Perhaps the best part of the event was getting to interact with the students in a different environment than the classroom.
Kudos to Mr. Roberts on an extraordinary evening from start to finish!

The 2014-2015 CFS Annual Fund drive is underway. We are looking for increased rates of participation among our parents, alumni, faculty/staff and friends.
