It is my great honor to recommend Katy Galan for SFA Scholarships. I have known Katy for the past four years and worked directly with her. From the first day I met Katy it was very clear that she was very goal oriented. She is a very special student who will blossom as a person and succeed in her educational goals at SFA.

Katy has been a member of my Student Athletic Training Staff for the past four years. She knew that working the long hours required in in the training room would benefit her in her overall goal of obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice. The four years Katy has been in the program she has shown great determination and dedication to her work and care of the athletes at Conroe High School. Her work ethic and leadership abilities are a great asset to any program. It is very clear that my program has blossomed because of Katy’s leadership.

Not only does Katy have great leadership, but she is also very dependable and trustworthy. I always know that if I need something done I can call on Katy to take care of whatever I need in a timely fashion. She is very confident in her abilities and calm when faced with adversity.

Katy has set lofty goals for herself while at SFA. I know without a doubt Katy will achieve those goals. Having been a student at SFA myself, I know Katy will be a great student and a contributing member of the SFA community.
