Experience 300 Bowl - Conroe, TX
I was employed there for over a year in the snackbar. During the last few months of my career, I was trained to work the front, and I was introduced to counting the money drawers. I was in charge of cleaning and keeping the bowling alley tidy and neat. I was awarded “Employee of the Month” three times, and I was given a $25 bonus for winning the award consecutively.
Volunteer Service
• I made crafts for kids attending Kidzfest • Helped clean out a house affected by Hurricane Harvey • Helped work the Special Olympics at 300 Bowl • Tutored a kid in all four core subjects • Dog-sat for numerous people
What’s In the Future I plan to attend the University of Oklahoma for Mathematics in August. I have completed several hours of schooling through Lone Star Community College as well, and I hope to transfer those credits. As for my career, I’d love to be able to do something for the Chickasaw Tribal Government. Majoring in Mathematics could enable me to get involved with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and I could ensure finances flowing through that program. However, I’m not quite sure what I would like to do in the future. All I am sure of is that I want to represent my people and where I come from. By doing this, I will have fufilled my life’s purpose.
