Personal Statement Hi my name is Debby Barba. I was born and raised in Conroe, Texas. I was raised by my parents; Rene and Paula with my two older sisters; Angelina and Brittany. They have all loved and supported me through everything, but Brittany has been my biggest fan. She has been my rock throughout high school and has helped me through every obstacle I've faced. She has supported me from giving me advice to touring colleges with me. I truly have her to thank for all of my accomplishments, she has been such a supportive sister and I am so lucky to have her by my side. I am also grateful to have the opportunity to attend The University Of North Texas this fall. I have put forth tons of effort and dedication to my education and am proud to see new doors and opportunities arise. I couldn't have done any of this without the people I have in my life shaping me into the person I am today.

Future Goals I will be attending UNT fall of 2022. I am incredibly lucky to receive the Emerald Eagle scholarship that will cover tuition for all 4 years. I plan on getting my bachelor's degree in marketing, and later down the line get my master's degree in marketing as well. Ideally I'd love to be a marketing manager for Spotify or a magazine company. I am hoping to work at a company that is forward-thinking and would allow me to utilize creativity in the everyday job.
