ABOUT ME

I’m Abigail Hinojosa, or simply, Abi. I was born and raised right here in Conroe, Texas. I’ve grown up with my older brother Alex, and was raised by my two happy parents, Alberto and Robyn. I’ve been dancing since I was 3 and can’t wait to pursue a career in the art in my future. I have been a member of the Conroe High School yearbook staff for all four years of my high school career, and am so honored to have been Editor-In-Chief this year. I’ve learned so much through the course, not only computer skills, but communication, leadership, and management skills. I’m eager to begin a new chapter of my life at Oklahoma City University in the fall, but am also going to miss my adolescent years here at Conroe High.

EDUCATION
I am a graduating senior, going into my freshman year of college this fall as a dance performance major with a minor in psychology. With experience in journalism and graphic design, I am prepared for any task handed to me.

What this course has taught me
Yearbook helped me step out of my comfort zone and talk to other students. It was the perfect creative outlet and I enjoyed getting the opportunity to be a part of such a huge and memorable project for four years straight. Not only did I learn so much about technology, I learned so much about photography, advertising, and interview skills. I loved growing closer with the staff and learning from our teacher, Miss Gold.

Future plans
I will be attending Oklahoma City University in the fall on a Talent and Academic Scholarship. I plan on majoring in dance performance and minoring in psychology. Photography will always be a hobby of mine and I'm forever thankful that I got to learn about it in high school. Future plans
