This SEPTEMBER, we’re preparing for the SPIRITUAL NEW YEAR of 5786, which begins with ROSH HASHANNA (Feast of Trumpets) on 923-25. It’s a time of passing under the Shepherd’s Rod according to the Bible; when Christ counts us and RELEASES us from the intruders and goats trying hide among the fold. He RELEASES His sheep to go forward with Him into green pastures Ezekiel 20:36-38 explains this as a SIGN of God’s covenant and RESTORATION FOR ISRAEL (alongside of the End-time Church):
Passing under the ROD OF AUTHORITY is a process of submitting and yielding to the Good Shepherd; so we move into a “bond of covenant” with Christ, We make our “marriage vows” to follow Him alone!
As we agreeably pass under His rod, we enjoy His protection and care and dwell in His Secret Place of Psalm 91 God promised to “purge the rebels” from among Israel (and believers), dealing with them who’ve sinned against HIM! Irresponsible (false) shepherds (in Ezekiel 34) have had their day and opportunity to properly care. But God said He would “judge between sheep and goats” and He will; yet, HIS eye remains upon us His sheep! He’s requiring His Sheep to move forward now and obey!
The FEASTS OF THE LORD are recorded in Leviticus 23 as HOLY times unto the Lord, designed for men to REST and worship God, who makes them PROSPER as they TRUST Him. These HOLIDAYS are organized in cycles of 7 – the number of completion (rest) – so they’re called SABBATHS. There is a Sabbath day, a Sabbath week, a Sabbath month and every 7 th year, there is a JUBILEE or RESET – a time of correction and release! God’s FEASTS and Sabbaths are spiritual, but also must align with the natural world and the seasons of HARVEST God established in Genesis 8:22. Both man’s lunar and solar calendars fail to perfectly keep track of natural time. So, a Jubilee every 7 th year resets the Lunar (Hebrew) calendar to keep true to the natural seasons, the same way the Solar (Greek) calendar adjusts every forth LEAP year.
This chart of Feasts above shows how God is FULFILLING each Sabbath Festival through Christ. The Feast of Trumpets SIGNIFIES THE END of an agricultural year (growing season) and the beginning of a new harvest cycle. Since 1948, when President Truman proclaimed “I am Cyrus” and Israel was reborn, Jews have returned to the Middle East, MARKING THE CLOSING of the growing season known as the “Church Age” and the beginning of a FINAL HARVEST OF SOULS before Christ returns, likely on a future Day of Atonement (Christ fulfilled every Spring Feast on its exact day, so it’s likely He’ll do so with the Fall Feasts as well). In Rosh Hashannah, the TRUMPET sound is meant as a warningPREPARE for the COMING OF MESSIAH (the Day of Atonement). And it’s no coincidence a TRUMP is now loudly warning “it’s time for peace” in the
Middle East! Indeed, it’s a sign of the times and seasons of the Lord! Trump, acting as another Cyrus to Israel, is announcing a CHANGE OF SPIRITUAL SEASONS! Let the SHEEP pass under Christ’s ROD again!
Meanwhile in July, a Jewish priest sacrificed a perfect RED HEIFER in Israel, whose ashes are needed to prepare for the purification of the nation and the rebuilding of their Temple! Five rare red heifers were brought to Israel from Texas in 2022; however, they don’t remain viable as “pure’ for long, usually sprouting a stray white hair, spot or blemish within 2-3 years. So, the only remaining red heifer was sacrificed in July and another may not be available again for a very long time! No red heifer sacrifice has taken place in Israel for 2000 years, since Christ, the SACRIFICIAL LAMB OF GOD, fulfilled the Passover Feast and the Temple was destroyed (ceasing all sacrifices) in 70 AD!
NOW the gap of time marked on the chart of Feasts, between the last Spring Feast of Pentecost and the first Fall Feast of Trumpets, has been FULFILLED at 2000 years! The red heifer sacrifice is required according to Numbers 19, to cleanse those defiled from touching the dead. Now, Israel is only waiting on a PEACE AGREEMENT to begin constructing their Third Temple!
So, the 7 th year JUBILEE is a RESET to realign the calendar and natural SEASONS, syncing HEAVEN AND EARTH (the spiritual and material realms) once again. Jubilee – when debts are forgiven and land restored to its rightful owner - comes at the end of a cycle of 7, as errors (sin) are reconciled to God’s standard - His unchanging Word! This is the ROD OF AUTHORITY, that Christ requires believers to submit to as the Holy Spirit helps us obey. Once again, we TRUST Him, accepting the TRUTH He reveals, so we might be saved from harm and RELEASED into green pastures with renewed joy!
The coming Tribulation is described in scripture as a 7-year time period that may align with the first day of Feast of Trumpets and end on the last Day of the Atonement Day Feast. Revelation 11:3 shows 2 PROPHETIC WITNESSES for Israel ministering for 1260 days before being killed. Daniel 12:11 reveals Antichrist breaking the peace treaty in the middle of the Tribulation period and occupying the third Jewish temple to sets up a profane, sacrilegious object of worship for another 1290 days. The total number of days is 2550.
This chart shows there are only 7 times when those Sabbath (festival) dates (totaling 2550) have matched up on the calendar since 1948, when the proverbial Fig Tree (Israel) bloomed. Remember THAT GENERATION WILL NOT PASS AWAY before Christ returns, according to Jesus in Matthew 24:31-35. So, this 2025 Feast of Trumpets marks the 7 th TIME (and possibly the last) since Israel was reborn that the prescribed 7 year tribulation period matches the prescribed SABBATH calendar days for the Fall Feasts. So many Jews and Christians are watching to see if a season of Peace and ANTICHRIST are actually unfolding.
As we move from 5785 (2025) into 5786 (2026), the number 6 is represented by the Hebrew
letter VAV which represents a hook or nail. It replaces the Hebrew letter HEY, which stands for 5 and represents God’ GRACE. So, it may be significant that we are leaving behind a double portion season of God’s Grace and entering a SEASON OF MAN (number 6) and possibly the revealing of THE MAN who will make a peace covenant with Israel, before the Antichrist is revealed and the beast’s system running everything in the earth.
It is worth noting that this is the time God is bringing HIS SHEEP under HIS ROD for correction and blessing. Discipline is necessary, if the child refuses to obey! GOATS are rebellious by nature, resisting, butting heads and rebutting everything around them. But SHEEP are gentle, following the VOICE of the GOOD SHEPHERD. God is sorting out the SHEEP from the goats – who will submit to His Word and HIS ordained authority. While God’s saints are warriors in prayer, routing demons and casting evil out by the Spirit of God, they remain respectful to civil authorities. Even the Archangel Michael respected Satan and was not foolish enough to curse him in Jude 1:9, but declared the LORD would rebuke him instead!
Authoritarian power is coming upon the earth, which will first correct both the Church and
the rebellious world together. Rebels everywhere will be exposed and spirit-led Christians will become witnesses for Christ at a higher level in His Kingdom, shining like a beacon of light in the midst of chaos and doing good for others wherever possible. No matter what happens, CHRIST AND HIS PEOPLE ARE ADVANCING. IT’S TIME TO MOVE FORWARD – let us take our place under HIS WORD, under HIS VOICE, under HIS CALLING, that we might move into a new season of harvest and great rewards.
