Well,indeed,darknessisspreadingmore andmoreintheworld.We’rejust64days
fromanotherUSelectionanddistracted, concerned,perhapsevenfeelinghopeless. YetGodislookingforvestalvirginswhoare preparingforHisreturn.(Unfortunately, ALLofushavefallensleep,ALLhavefallen short,ALLneedtoawakeandrefreshour lamps(Hiswordinourhearts)fortimeis runningout!)Remember,nomatterwho winsthecomingelection,theworldcontinuesmovingintoaglobalalignment,where wouldbe“kings”desiretoruleoverus,just asRevelation17:12-14foretells:
12Thetenhornsaretenkings(menof wealth&politicalpower)withoutakingdom yet…butthey’llreceiveonehourofauthorityaskings,alongwiththebeast.13They haveONEpurpose-toyieldpowerandauthoritytothebeast.14…makingWAR AGAINSTTHELAMB!
Peopleofgreatwealthandinfluencehave enoughfinancialpowertocorruptthe heartsofmanypoliticalleaders.Theyare warringagainsttheLamb,focusedonbringingeverypossibleauthority(includingThe Church)undercontrolofaglobalbeast, whiletheybecomekingsinantichrist’skingdom.So,whetherwevotedemocratorrepublican,these“mega-rich”silentlydrive governmentsandnationsintoungodlyalignmentswithruinousresults.Theyputbig moneyintobothcampsofthepoliticalprocess,advancingtheircausesbywhichever partywins.Theyareunitedtobringafinal
kingdomforth–wheretheywillhaveultimate power.
Unfortunately,TheChurchisdistractedand divided–democratsandrepublicans,liberals andconservatives,blackandwhite,maleand female,richandpoor,etc.–strugglingto uniteforhigherpurposes!SuchlowlydistinctionsmatternottoChrist,forHisKINGDOM existsbeyondgender,race,oreconomic(and political)limitationsaccordingtoGalatians 3:28-29!CHRISTALONEMAKESUSUNITED! Infact,Pauladdressessuchdivisionin1Corinthians3:3-4&9saying,“Youarejealousof oneanotherandquarrelwitheachother. Doesn’tthatproveyouarecontrolledbyyour sinfulnature?Aren’tyoulivinglikepeopleof theworld?4Whenoneofyousays,“IamafollowerofPaul,”andanothersays,“Ifollow Apollos,”aren’tyouactingjustlikepeopleof theworld?BothareGod’sworkers-God’sfield -God’sbuilding.”
Wemustnotletourdesiresforanotherelection“win”keepAmericanChristiansdivided! Ratherthanfocusingonapoliticalrace,we mustrememberthespiritualracewe’rein. Christiansonbothsidesoftheislemustrep-
resentChristandchallengepeoplearoundus torejectthedarknessandpreparetheirown heartsforGod’sjudgement,beforeitistoo late.
DemocratandRepublicanChristiansmust considerspeakingoutagainstthedarkness foundintheirownpoliticalparty,ratherthan arguingacrosspoliticalisleswithfellow Christians.Wewillhavetolivewitheachotherwhenallissaidanddone,sonowisnotthe timetosayhatefulthingswecannottakeback orslanderoneanotheroveradifferencein ideasorperspective.Letustakeourvoting seriously,butneverallowittodivideusfrom oneanother.RememberJesushadtwohands andUSEDbothHisrightandleftforgood.
Thegreatcommissionisthemissionthatmattersmostinthisadvancinghourofdarkness. Whetheryouwouldvoteforabortionor againstit,forguncontroloragainstit,forracialreparationsoragainstthem,formoretaxesorless,foreducationalreformoragainstit, foramorecapitalistormoresocialistAmerica,foropenbordersorclosed-thetruthis peopleinAmericawillstillneedJesuseither way!Letusrememberwe’reonthesame
team,evenaswepushourownnetworkand politicalaffiliationstodobetter.Letuspray forthesoulofAmericatobehealed.RemembertopraytheLord’sprayerfromMatthew 6:5-15.(Iliketopray“andhelpmetoforgive thosewhosindifferentlythanIdo,asYOU, GODforgiveme).
