01 Museum At Bessemer
Museum at Bessemer exhibits the tumultuous history of Steelworks in Pueblo, Colorado. This design represents the constant power dynamic between management and the workers and the deadly conflicts that have shaped the history of this steel plant. The history of this site has changed the development of Colorado and the Southwest United States.

An exploration of hierarchy via line work, planar models, and massing models helped drive the design's form. This study also helped in my understanding of spatial relationships and how they interact with one another in an exhibit space with public versus private. Full exploration on page 8.

05 Bunraku Puppet Theater
This reverse-engineered project challenged me to use documents to recreate a 3D model of an older building. Once created in Rhino, I used the model to create cut guides on the 3D printer so that the dowels could snap together smoothly and bring this amazing architecture to model-sized life.

This partnered studio project allowed us to understand the benefits and challenges of working with a partner throughout the design process. We gained knowledge on how to design using each others strengths and weaknesses as well as how to compromise on design choices.
