In today's gospel, Peter's question to pardon seven times seven looks so generous. But Jesus immediately corrected him, and instructed him about how much pardon we need to offer the ones who have offended us. Jesus' instructions are so clear, and without any preamble. He instructed us how pardon goes further than justice, and always looks for reconciliation. In other words, we have to pardon always and forever, unconditionally, and without any measure. In the parable, the exaggerated amount of debt points out to the idea of a situation impossible to resolve. It is only God the one to whom we can own that much.What we own to others is insignificant before what we own to our creator In the “Our Father” prayer, forgiveness of our offenses is only asked after we have offered our pardon for all those who have offended us.This is the essence of Christ's teaching.

Forgiveness has two faces, equally complicated. On the one hand, we are invited to ask forgiveness for our faults and sins.On the other hand,we are also called to offer our unconditional pardon for all those who have offended us. Forgiveness for our neighbor arises from the fact that we have already experienced pardon. If we refuse to extend our pardon for our neighbor, our actions will become a clear sign that we have not understood the immensity of God's grace and mercy.

Forgiveness does not simply arise from our hearts goodness; it is a gift that we have received while being called to share it with our neighbor. Love is the only tool that will lead us to recognize our offenses, but at the same time it also will be the motor behind our desires to be forgiven from the offenses we have committed. This is the kind of love that was made possible at the foot of the cross. Forgiveness flows from Jesus passion,death and resurrection.

En el evangelio de hoy,la oferta de Pedro por perdonar hasta siete veces parece bastante generosa, pero inmediatamente Jesús lo corrige,y nos instruye acerca de cuanto perdón debemos ofrecer a aquel que nos ha ofendido La instrucción es clara, sin ningún preámbulo el Señor nos dice que el perdón va mucho más allá de la justicia, y siempre busca reconciliación. En otras palabras, tenemos que perdonar siempre, incondicionalmente, y sin medida. En la parábola, la exagerada cantidad de la deuda no hace otra cosa más que apuntar hacia un imposible.Es solamente a Dios a quien podemos deberle tanto, lo que debemos a los demás es insignificante delante de lo que debemos al Padre. En el Padre Nuestro, el perdón de nuestras ofensas es solicitado solo después de afirmar que hemos perdonado a aquellos que nos han ofendido.Esta es la esencia de ser Cristiano.

El perdón tiene dos caras, y ambas, igual de complicadas Por un lado, somos llamados a pedir perdón por nuestras culpas; por otro lado, debemos perdonar incondicionalmente a quien nos ha ofendido. La conducta hacia nuestros hermanos debe fluir del hecho mismo de sentirnos perdonados. El no ejercitar nuestro perdón significa que no hemos entendido la inmensidad de la misericordia y la gracia divinas.

El perdón no brota simplemente de la bondad de nuestros corazones, es un regalo que recibimos, y que somos llamados a entregar a los demás. El amor es la única arma que nos permite ver cuánto hemos ofendido, y es este mismo amor el motor que nos debe mover a pedir perdón a los que hemos ofendido Este es el amor hecho posible al pie de la cruz, el perdón que fluye incondicionalmente de la pasión, la muerte y la resurrección de Cristo

Trong ngụ ngôn, số nợ qúa lớn là một tình huống không thể giải quyết. Chỉ có Chúa là Đấng mà từ Ngài chúng ta có thể sở hữu nhiều như vậy Những gì chúng ta nợ người khác chẳng là gì so với những gì chúng ta mắc nợ Chúa Cha.Trong kinh “Lạy Cha”, chúng ta chỉ xin tha tội sau khi chúng ta đã tha cho tất cả những ai đã xúc phạm chúng ta.Đây là giáo huấn căn bản của Chúa Kitô

Sự tha thứ có hai mặt và cả hai đều phức tạp như nhau. Một mặt, chúng ta được kêu gọi xin sự tha thứ lỗi lầm của mình. Mặt khác, chúng ta cũng được kêu gọi để tha thứ vô điều kiện cho tất cả những ai xúc phạm đến chúng ta. Tha thứ cho anh em chúng ta phải xuất phát từ chính cảm giác được tha thứ. Nếu chúng ta từ chối mở rộng sự thứ tha của chúng ta tới anh em mình,có nghĩa là chúng ta không hiểu được lòng thương xót bao la và ân sủng vô biên của Thiên Chúa. .

Tha thứ không chỉ đơn giản phát xuất từ con tim nhân ái của chúng ta; nó là một ân huệ mà chúng ta nhận lãnh trong khi được kêu gọi để chia sẻ nó với tha nhân.Tình yêu chỉ là một dụng cụ hướng dẫn chúng ta để nhận ra sự xúc phạm của mình, nhưng cùng lúc nó cũng là một động lực sau những ước muốn của mình để được tha thứ từ những xúc phạm chúng ta đã phạm. Đây là một thứ tình yêu mà có thể được hoàn thành ở dưới chân Thập Giá.Tha thứ bắt nguồn từ cuộc khổ nạn, cái chết và sự Phục Sinh của Chúa Giê-su.
